Sad news indeed, blogsis.
I know your prayers, as mine, go to Sam, Quentin and Mommie.
And, that Rob finds the peace which eluded him for so long.

Why don't you believe it? Think he's teaching Catfish a lesson? Think he wants to vanish for privacy reasons? You know him better than most and he respected you. He loved you.
I don't believe it, either. FWIW.

I believe it. He was an alchoholic for *how* long?
I hope he didn't go in pain.

it's so sad. I'm just numb to it since I found out this morning.

Sad, but not surprising. The man was sick.
I'll miss him.

It came as a shock to me too. *hug* It's hard, but I hope the passing was peaceful.

Gonna miss that crusty old bastard. [expletives suppressed]

Cigarettes. Drink. Attitude. Start the wake, I'm ready.
Sounds like pulmonary embolism or coronary. Doesn't make $#!+ for difference. Fast, either way.
$#!+ .

I'm sorry, folks, but I have to close off these comments because I can't take it anymore.
I don't know anything else that can be said about my friend Rob, except that I loved him and that, like virtually everyone who knew him, I'm sorry that he's gone. If he went in the manner in which we all suspect, then there is little more that can be said. Regrets are all that we have.
