Of course you remember Senator Richard Durbin’s slanderous remarks comparing the US military to Nazis, Stalinists and the Khmer Rouge and how the words got spread all over the world and how they are said to have motivated one of the London suicide bombers of 7/7. One of the means through which much of the Islamic world gets its new is through Al Jazeera and that organization wasted no time in publicizing the senator’s words. Indeed there are eight articles on the Al Jazeera domain which contain some referrence to the senator’s infamous accusation.
However, Bob at Breakdown Lane points out a telling fact. Tancredo’s alleged desire to bomb the Islamic Holy Land didn’t quite make the Al J cut. The grand total of articles regarding Congressman Tancredo’s remark is a whopping zero.

I wonder why that is.
UPDATE: Jeff G. has a fascinating post on Tancredo and what he might have known about before giving the Pat Campbell interview.
Appearing on “DaySide” just now was Paul L. Williams, PhD, author of the forthcoming Osama’s Revenge. According to Mr. Williams, a former FBI consultant and adjunct professor of Humanities at the University of Scranton, al Qaeda and bin Laden have been actively seeking nuclear weapons since 1992, and that, with the help of the AQ Khan research laboratories, have been successful—and have already managed to forward deploy from Karachi many such weapons into the United States in preparation for what they call the “American Hiroshima.” [SNIP]Jeff isn't sure of the timeline between the meeting and the interview, however, if Congressman Tancredo met with Mr. Williams before the interview, this obviously gives the former's words some context.I bring all this up because one of the lawmakers Mr. Williams met with recently is Colorado congressman Tom Tancredo...[SNIP]
