Thousands of customers could eminate from one IP address. It's possible that "Ed" is just one person, and that the other names are other people.

But I would like to remind you that Howard Zinn, who you accuse of being a "Stalino-Fascist war criminal type" was in fact an enlisted soldier who served honorably during WWII. It was his experience of being sent on a (in his mind, unwarranted & excessive) bombing mission that leveled the town of Royan, France at the very end of the war that cemented his anti-war political convictions. He later went on to become quite involved in the nascent civil rights movement of the 60's via his position as an educator at a black college in my hometown, Atlanta. I have a feeling that the host of this blog, as a woman of African-American descent, might just have a small amount of admiration* for the man for being (at great personal & professional risk, I might add) right on the front lines of that very worthy fight for justice.

Whether or not you agree with his poltical view or writings, please don't show your true colors by demeaning a WWII & American civil rights hero.

Worn, Howard Zinn having been an enlisted man in the Army Air Corps in WW-II does not grant him any special perspective on politics - otherwise "Tail Gunner" Joe McCarthy would be one of your heros as well. Arguments like those are specious at best, because in any large grouping of people, you will be able to find someone of any political persuasion you choose.
