Just A Thought
Here’s another random musing to brighten your day.
All this “missing weapons” nonsense recalls the fact that Senator John Kerry said on CNN’s Larry King Show that he was “too busy” to attend a terror briefing to which the president had cordially invited him a few months back.
LARRY KING: Let's get to, first thing's first, news of the day. Tom Ridge warned today about al Qaeda plans of a large-scale attack on the United States, didn't increase the -- do you see any politics in this? What's your reaction? That made me wonder whether he ever got the re-scheduled briefing or has attended any other.JOHN KERRY: Well, I haven't been briefed yet, Larry. They have offered to brief me; I just haven't had time. But all Americans are united in our efforts to defeat terrorism. [SNIP]
KING: When do you -- when do you get your briefing?
KERRY: We're arranging it. It's at the end of the week I'll get it.
Why is this important? Note that the president only responds to the “missing weapons” charges in the abstract; no specifics, no clarifications, no details. If Senator Kerry has not attended any terror or Senate Intelligence Committee briefings lately, how would he know which information is classified and which isn’t?
In his rush to take the Bush-beating tool that Mohamed El-Baradei provided, could Senator Kerry have inadvertently revealed classified information or links to it?
MORE: One would think that a POTUS would be allowed to reveal classified info whenever he saw fit. However, it's unlikely that this president would do so against the advice of his intelligence advisers, even--especially--to clean up his reputation during a re-election campaign.

Dear Baldilocks (My heroine!), you completely missed the ball on this one (Kerry and briefings).
John Fromage Kerry attended plenty of briefings - those with CBS, the NY Times, the UN, and the IAEA about how to broadcast lies to try to steal our country and present it to the socialists. Duh!
I just hope that Bush stops being so freaking noble and does something to actually win this election...like pulling bin Laden's head out of a box or something equally useful.
