Antidotal Anecdotes
You getting discouraged, right?
Likely, you’re tired of reading about the skeeza in the Army who’s too dumb to know that’s it’s morally wrong, repugnant and illegal to humiliate prisoners and too dumb to use birth control properly.
Likely, you’re tired of reading about her paramour, the ne'er-do-well in the Army that failed in the raising of his other children so miserably that his ex-wife has had restraining orders against him; whose civilian boss reprimanded him over and over again.
(Is it any wonder that there are so many stupid people in the world?)
Well, chins up. BlackFive has a series chronicling some of the heroes—yes, heroes—of Operation Iraqi Freedom. And, in spite of the way it may seem, the heroes far outnumber the scum (just to give the situation some perspective).
The Paratrooper of Love is making sure that at least some of us get to read about men like these:
1st Lieutenant Brian Chontosh
Capt. Dominique B. Neal
Chief Warrant Officer Dave Williams (yes, that CWO Dave Williams)
Gentlemen like these represent our military, not the scum. Keep that in mind as the howling for scalps rages on.

skeeza. Thank you. I now have a word that I can use in public for women who are beneath contempt.
Oh, and do you know of this person? He isn't of your political persuasion, but he writes well:

Sorry. I clicked "post" instead of "preview".

Liz: Never heard of him and I can't tell that he writes well from that post. I want to know *why* he thinks there is no honor--whether I would agree with the reason or not. And I don't see it expressed in that one. Perhaps I need the person's definition of honor, since, likely, it's different from mine.

CB: Perhaps you need to re-read the post. It appears that, in your zeal to deliver your sarcasm, you missed something.

This group if idiot MP's comes across as a mix of the characters from "Deliverance" and the "Beverly Hillbillies" who decided to join the military. Obviously these miscreants had too much free time on their hands. As BlackFive has pointed out, these knucleheads have, and will continue to, overshadow all of the couragous deeds and actions performed by the real soldiers there...
Truly a shame.
