Fun in the South
It looks like a good time was had by all at the Jawja Blogger Meet. I would have loved to have attended and brought back the days of the crazy, drunken philosophizing of my youth, but I couldn’t see myself explaining to my aunt where I was going.
“You’re going where to get drunk with who?”
It’s sad when a fortyish woman can’t face up to a little wigging out from the parental unit. :-)

You sure missed a helluva boozefest...wish you'd been there, it was really great to meet the other bloggers, and it would be really great to get to meet you too!! You HAVE to come to the next one!

Do I know you, Baldilocks? Who am I? Damn! I think I left a lot of dead brain cells on the side of that mountain.
You would have LOVED it, Juliette. Recondo's wife, Georgia, has never met a person she didn't like, but even SHE commented on how crazy, fun and friendly a bunch of bloggers can be. We had a good turnout and a wonderful time.
Try to make the next one, because we WILL do that again.

Hi Sis,
I can understand your Aunt's worry...SISOFLEXX made a comment to the effect of "you know, when I told people I was meeting friends from the internet, they told me I'd wind up hogtied with a rubber ball in my mouth."
I think that may have actually happened to ADAM ;-)
Wish you'd have been there.

The first time I went to a gathering with friends I'd met online, my brother was dropping me off, and insisted on going in the house to scope it out. It was very sweet :)
Deb and I were just saying we need to have a CA get together. I come down to SoCal every few months, (going this weekend in fact) so I'd love to come to a meetup.
